Description

Consona N7 Overview

The Consona N7 is part of Mindray’s Consona family of color Doppler ultrasound systems, designed for confident screening, easy operation and support for growing ultrasound teams. It combines ZST+ imaging with automated tools for obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal and cardiovascular work, in an ergonomic cart with a height-adjustable monitor arm and a rotatable control panel. If you need a more compact entry point in the same family, see the Mindray Consona N5S color Doppler ultrasound system or the Mindray Consona N5 diagnostic ultrasound system.

ZST+ imaging platform

The Consona N7 runs on Mindray’s ZST+ platform, which processes holistic channel-domain data to overcome the spatial and temporal resolution limits of conventional beamforming. Core processing includes Multi-Pipe Signal Processing, Advanced Acoustic Acquisition, Dynamic Pixel Focusing and Octal-Beam image processing. Image-enhancement technologies include:

  • Tissue Harmonic Imaging (THI) and Phase Shift Harmonic Imaging (PSHI™)
  • iBeam™ spatial compounding and High Resolution iClear® speckle suppression
  • Frequency Compounding Imaging (FCI) and Tissue Specific Imaging (TSI)
  • HD Scope, Echoboost, and trapezoid imaging with independent B-Steer and Color ROI-Steer on linear transducers
  • iTouch+ one-button image optimization, iZoom™ full-screen expansion and high-definition pan/spot zoom

Doppler and flow imaging

The standard imaging kit covers B, M, Color M, Color, PW, Power and Directional Power modes with HPRF, and CW continuous-wave Doppler is included as standard. HR Flow, Glazing Flow 3D-style flow rendering and Smart Track automatic vessel tracking support vascular and small-parts work, together with B/Color/PW real-time triplex and dual live display.
